Micro suction is a common and safe procedure which aims to remove excessive or impacted wax resulting in a blocked ear.
It involves using a specialised instrument called a micro suction probe, which is used to gently suction out the wax from the ear canal.
During the procedure a microscope or loupe magnification device is used to visualise the ear canal clearly.
The procedure is carried out using a low-pressure suction device, which ensures controlled and precise removal of the ear wax without causing damage or discomfort to the ear.
